Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

Long ago I tried to get into protein smoothies and and it just never really happened for me. I probably didn’t try hard enough to find one that suited me. But really how much money are you supposed to spend on these things? And why do they taste so weird? And the texture? Anyway, it just wasn’t for me. But what I do love, is a good breakfast smoothie. So I’m going to share one of my favorites with you.

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 C. oats
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • 1/4-1/2 TSP cinnamon
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1 TBSP maple syrup

I just throw mine in a tall glass and use my immersion blender to blend all the ingredients together. It’s super yummy and does fill me up for a while. You can also make it dairy free and use almond or cashew milk. And that’s it! I know the shortest blog post you will ever read from me.
